That’s me moving to a little island…

I’ve got a job in the Perhintian islands in Malaysia for a few months – there’s no roads, cars, bikes on the island just beach and jungle ! I’ll be there for a while before I come back here and do my IDC Staff.

I think the island life will suit me – either that or I’ll go stir crazy and start talking to coconuts (or was it a football ?) like Tom Hnaks in that film…

aye sorry for the lack of detail over the last few montsh troops
no mains power here so internet a bit flaky at best

will try and keep this updated a bit more regularly

I’ve been training divers like a demon – which is great fun. And I hate to use the term ‘rewarding’, but it is. So there !

oh, and yes I am still on the island
will be here until October when the monsoons start, and then it’s back to Pattaya for for IDC staff straining (I can then teach instructors) and probably back here next Feb

The island life is suiting me really well (no roads, cars, quiet life, etc) although I do miss things like having a cinema and fast food outlets..

When i went back to the mainland this month I went to Kota Bhaur (N Malaysia) and gorged myself on KFC, pizza hut and McDs
Although I was raging that they had closed the cinema and I wasn’t able to see the new batman movie

such is life…

sound like a wee paradise to me that wee island.. Have you seen any priate ships ? Where can i send the chocolate to now? post me a mail about that stuff eh?

We me and Brian were in Malaysia, we stayed to the island called Pangkor. I sunbathed in a bikini (slut) and there were men in the woods filming me. Also, when we went in the sea for a swim I looked back and saw a monkey looking through my bag. We also had a tarantula in our room that night.

i’m on one of the Perhentian islands, and so far I’ve not seen any monkeys or tarantulas nor have I sunbathed in a bikini…
